The Young Master has grown into new pursuits .... it's good to see how handsome he is and to hear that he's in fine fettle!

He is in excelent fettle, you should have heard the vigour with which he complaned at me when I wouldn't let him out this morning. I didn't think gale-force winds (knocking trees over) and hoofing rain were the sort of thing I'd want him out in - I'm such a meanie. :-D

He's found a playmate in a young white-and-tabby just down the street. They take turns chasing each other and very sweetly touch noses when they meet up.

Thank you.
My Better Half chainsaw-carves the wooden sculptures. He's quite good at it. :D

gorgeous boy, he's almost the same colour as some of those bits of wood lol. Can I ask what that is you have pinned out?

Almost. :) He still thinks this will help disguise him enough to catch birds. ^^

It is a shawl blocking. Looks like this when unpinned:

Nice day outside. Wish her indoors wouldn't bring out the camera as soon as I settle down for a nice, long wash.

The new cat isn't a morning cat so HI and I spend some nice time cuddling and feeding me, and then I go outside to make sure that all is well with the world. I'm a <del>consk</del> <del>consci</del> responsible cat.

Synchronised cats, I haz 'em. ^^

Ah, bird watching. Such a worthwhile pastime.

Hmmm.... Ginny, do you feel we're being watched?

She's at it again. "Imperius!" Go get us some chicken, you useless servant.

(I particularly like the little moustache he's given himself. ^^)

Managed to spend seven hours with 'er indoors without losing my cool:

The Young Master has a friend??? You kept that one under wraps, I had to go back and check that I'd not missed something!

How wonderful ..... I'm sure they will get up to all sorts of mutual mischief!

Not a friend yet. She's has had a rough ride with other cats before she arrived a few weeks ago, so she's very likely to misinterpret His Nibs' attempts at playing or practicing purr-kwan-do moves.
He's being an absolute star. Mostly non-confrontational but solid in his belief that he belongs where he is. :)
Ginny has her own thread, if you want her side of moving in with us lot. ^^

Compromise - sunning my belly on the sundeck instead of the cosier foam mats to let 'Er -in-the-flowerbed have some space. More quiet this way, she doesn't half go on at you if you get closer. Little Miss Hissy-fits.

She's already left her paw prints in the dough that was waiting for the over to be hot enough to bake yesterday's breakfast bread. :)
