Sunny Saturday !!!
Good morning ladies,Saturday, nearly 2pm here so not really morning. For the first time in days, the rain has stopped and it's actually a bit sunny. We've opened all the windows and glass doors to let a bit of sunlight in, but I'm afraid it's too late for the lounge carpet which is again completely sodden and the lounge curtains are ruined.. The main bedroom and the hallway have no lights at all due to water in the roof cavity, although we do have occasional bursts of light and sometimes even a strobe lighting effect, which is quite scary at night. We have more heavy rain forecast so I am going to leave everything just as it is for now. There is just no point trying to get people round to look at the roof and conservatory roof AGAIN. I'll just wait until the rain stops.
I'm OK but still finding it very painful to walk without elbow crutches. The medication is terrible but I am being closely monitored and the dose is being regulated.I am getting hallucinations, especially at night but they are not scary and I keep telling myself that they're not real.I recently had a knight in full armour come and stand at the foot of my bed. !!! I wasn't even thinking about medieval knights, so don't know what made him appear.I'm also getting a lot of dark thoughts but I cope with them and just try and think of a more pleasant time when I was walking Willow around the lake in the early evening.
Janna has had a very heavy cold so hasn't been at work. She's a bit better now but is still sneezing heaps. My sister was coming round for tea tonight but isn't now as she doesn't want to catch Janna's bug.
Cats are all well but won't walk on the wet lounge carpet. Honestly they are so fussy.Janna will take them outside for a while soon, as they haven't been out for a while. They refuse to go out in the rain. I start a new round of physio next Wednesday. I do hope this physio is nice -I asked for a woman this time. although the last guy I had (Rainer) was very nice.
PAMELA, I thought about you through the night and hoped that your move was going smoothly. No doubt you will be having a well deserved sleep in your stunning new home now. I hope Robyn and Mia have settled in as well. Your dad is indeed a very lucky man and how terrifying the whole ordeal must have been for you. I'm glad to hear he is now walking around and talking and laughing again. Enzo, your sister's puppy sounds adorable. Enzo is a name of our magpie that is now very tame. That puppy will certainly keep your sister on her toes for a few weeks, until he gets a bit older.Puppies are so cute but they are a heck of a lot of work.
SHELLEY, hope everything is going well with you Howard, Chris and the pups.I bet, with the nicer weather, you've been having a few doll fairs recently. I hope you managed to pick up a few bargains.!!
Well ladies, I'm off now before this computer is able to delete everything I've done. I'm amazed it's lasted this long.
Have a wonderful Saturday, Pamela and Shelley and enjoy your first weekend in your lovely new home, Pamela.
