Rainy Wednesday.

Good morning Pamela and Shelley,
Well I'm finally able to use my computer again although is still not right. Jared is watching me to see how it goes. He's done everything he can with these components but if it's still going to act up, then he'll buy me a new laptop - he knows about such things. Unfortunately, Janna couldn't get on to Catsey from her phone.

It's raining here and very dark outside. Poor Janna has gone up to Animates to get cat litter - she can bus there but she has to walk all the way back as the cat litter pail is very heavy. She brings it home in a baby stroller. !!!

I am still using two elbow crutches to get around but my doctor has now put me back on the nerve pain medication that made me so angry before. He has reduced the dosage slightly, but I'm taking two capsules a day. It's starting to affect my thinking a little and I get the hallucinations again, especially at night but they don't last and I'm aware that they're not real So far I haven't gone into any terrible rages like I did before, but I do find myself getting angry over certain things and I have to tell myself to calm down. Tom, my doctor is seeing me weekly and I'm just taking one day at a time with this medication. It is helping with the nerve pain though, so I guess that's something.

Spaghetti, mini spring rolls and an English muffin for tea tonight, followed by a custard tart for dessert.

PAMELA, how are you doing,my friend? I do hope that you are feeling a little more at peace now. Your new home is stunning and I know that you and Steven will be so very happy there.I'll email you tonight and talk to you then, but just know that I love it and I'm very jealous that it's not mine. I'm so glad that you got your mortgage settled OK. What a relief.I bet you're excited about the move - not long to go now. Mia and Skye are going to love their new home as well, and it's wonderful that it's so close to your dad's. Lucky you.Hope your dad is doing well, Pamela and enjoying the summer weather.

SHELLEY, lovely to hear from you and I'm so glad that you are well. I bet you're enjoying your time in Scotland, but on thinking about it, you might be back at home now. I often thought about your pups, especially Malaika, whom you were a bit worried about. I'm pleased that she and Kwame are both doing well. There is a basenji who visits the house across the road from me, but it's allowed to wander down the street on its own, which I don't like. It's a beautiful dog and I'd hate to see anything happen to it. We have a couple of boy racers that live down the road and they use our street as a race track!!!.

Jared is telling me to end this post as the NUK is getting very hot (it shouldn't) and he's thinking the internet connection might be at fault. He's going to contact Spark, my internet provider who recently installed a new phone connection here about 6 months ago, which may account for all the trouble I'm having now. I know I often lose my internet and phone at the same time, so maybe the problem lies there. I'll leave it to my favourite son in law - actually he's my only son in law !!!

Well ladies, have a great Wednesday. Hope the weather is a bit better for you than it is here.
