Sunny Thursday.

Good morning Pamela and Shelley,
Thursday afternoon here and it's a nice ,sunny day, a good day for the washing to dry.Janna isn't working tonight but starts at 1pm tomorrow, so that's not so bad. This computer has been playing up and deleting everything - not sure why, as Jared has been trying to fix it and has updated my operating system. it's driving me crazy.Hopefully I can make this post OK.

My cats were all groomed on Tuesday morning by Sophie and still have plenty of fur left on them. I told Sophie that I didn't want a full groom on them as the weather is getting colder now and she only took the matts of them, rather than shave them all over. They were all good and didn't try to bite or scratch, all that is except Snoddy, who always goes completely feral. They all seem to be OK now but Betsey is having problems with her tail. She had a few knots at the base of it so Sophie had to shave half of it. The rest is all fluffy but it seems to be uncomfortable for poor Betsey and she keeps swishing her tail all around and can't seem to settle down. I hope she settles down soon.

Just pumpkin soup for tea tonight with a nice bread roll, so nice and easy. I've got a craving for a piece of carrot cake with cream cheese icing and Janna has gone down to the supermarket to find some. I hope she's lucky.

PAMELA, hope all is well with you and you're slowly getting through all the paperwork involved with your new home. How excited you both must be. I hope wee Skye has managed to eat a little something for you. It is a real worry, I know. I'm thinking of you and saying my prayer to St Francis(patron saint of animals) for Skye , so she is in good hands, my friend. You have a good day ,Pamela.

SHELLEY,,how are you doing Shelley? I hope you and your family are all well. I often think of you and the pups, especially Malaika ,and wonder how your precious pup is getting on. I do so hope both your pups are OK.

Well ladies, my back is killing me sitting on this computer chair, so I'm going to go and read my book for a while in the sunshine. Such decadence.!!!

Have a great Thursday, Pamela and Shelley.

Re: Sunny Thursday.

Hey Maggie!!

Lovely to see you!!!!

I do hope Jared can sort the computer, its so frustrating when they dont work like they are meant to!! Thats great that the cats were well behaved for Sophie!! always a relief when the groomers/vets dont go home minus some blood!! I do hope Betsy settles for you, she must feel better though.

Did Janna get your cheese cake? i hope she did!!

We are trying to sort a mortgage for teh new house as our solicitor now doesnt work with our bank so its either find a new solicitor or find a new mortgage provider, i dont want to lose my solicitor. I am going to call anotehr bank tomorrow and try sort a new mortgage appointment out so we dont hold things up.

Had Skye at the vet tonight, they arent sure whats going on with her, They dont think its her teeth. Strangely i took a video of her eating incase they asked questions and it came in handy as they did ask!! They think it might be fluid in her chest because of her heart murmur, it could be her kidney function/thyroid or something worse. They are taking her in on Monday for blood tests to see if they can get any indication. She is an old lady of 15 now though and i wont put her through any invasive treatment. They have given us gabapentin liquid, a tiny tablet that we need to half and another liquid which removes any fluid round her chest. Hoping the painkiller kicks in and she starts eating. I have to wrap her in a towel and Steven has to put the syringe into her mouth but we did it tonight so will see how she goes.

Shelley hope all is well with you

Take care ladies
