Autumn Wednesday

Morning everyone

Already took Bella out twice as I have to wait in for a chap coming to price up cleaning the gutters (its on my checklist)
Looks like rain here today.

Had the stitches out yesterday in my knee - looks good and starting to feel good too. After the palaver I do not had a lot of faith in the NHS physio (not the physio's but the system/time) so booked a private physio for Monday and get some advice, about a couple of concerns.

I am sat here with the lights on in the morning, it is dark so have the lights on at 9.19

Autumn has arrived. Just got to adjust, I do like it though.

Re: Autumn Wednesday

Hello Kazz and everyone,

Yes, Autumn is really showing her true colours today, it's brrrr cold too. Although it has brightened up a bit now, 1pm, this morning was bleak. I had a hairdresser's appointment this morning, was surprised how much it's grown. Need a re-colour now too so thats's booked in next Friday before I go off on my cruise.

Hope your knee gets better with the new physic, some times the NHS is a big let down, and all because of the system. It's too big and not efficient, and sooooo slooooow!

Still waiting for the scaffolders any longer and I'll charge them storage fees!!!

Re: Autumn Wednesday

Afternoon Kazz, PP and anyone else who pops on ....

Well, I've found another QIP (Quite Interesting Person) in my family history - a civil engineer and explorer who worked on the Canadian Pacific Railway and travelled up the Yukon to survey for gold and other minerals at Klondike. Brilliant! It's good to know there's an explorer somewhere in my veins, even if very diluted!

Gloomy here this morning but not cold. Haven't yet put the central heating on, but do light the log burner in the afternoon/evening.

Pip bought a Goldfinch in this morning. I'd just about got dressed after the shower, but was yet to find my shoes. I managed to get the poor bird away from Pip and slip my feet into some shoes so I could take the bird outside. It was quiet in my hand but didn't seem to be injured and I shut Pip in the kitchen, went out the front door and was about to put the bird up in a yew tree, but it flew off swearing! Norty Pip.

Have a grand day everyone. You tell those scaffolders, PP!
