wednesdayMorning all, not been out yet but it looks a bit grey out there at the moment. Going to have another cup of tea and then get cracking, dogs to walk and jobs to do before work this afternoon. I've been invited to a doll fair on sunday so that's something to look foward to and also out with my cousins thursday evening. May be back later, have fun and play nicely,lol

Weather's not too bad here today. The sun's just about poking through after a misty start and it's already quite warm again. Tonight I am going to a council planning meeting along with some neighbours to speak against a retrospective planning permission BT have submitted for some telephone poles in our listed building and conservation area. I'm not a great public speaker so am a tad nervous, but the cause is an important one. |

Good afternoon ladies, the roof is finished at last!  The men have gone and the skip removed, just waiting for the scaffolders to come and take down the poles etc.It's a bright and sunny one here, warm too, have put a bit of washing on the airer to catch the last of the warmth in the conservatory. Trying to keep busy as my sis in law is having her hysterectomy today and my thoughts are with her. Angie, hope your bathroom now sparkles, Kazz hope your delivery has arrived & your knee feels better. Good luck at the council meeting Yola, it can be a bit intimidating but speak up loud and clear, and being there in numbers helps. Pamela, sad to hear it's a UTI, cranberry juice, well diluted in water is beneficial, keep the fluids up! Will get some pics of the roof and post them later , ciao now. x |
