Sunny Saturday, almost seasonal!

Good morning all, nearly midday , just made it

It looks lovely out and cleaning out the conservatory was glorious, lovely and warm.

Pandora and Pearla are basking in the sun coming through the french doors in their room, while Posh has commandeered the sofa in the living room with us. Feel very tired due to this cold, but need to plough on as the bedroom ceiling is coming down on Wednesday so have to clear the room. A few weeks ago, our roof leaked and the old artexed ceiling in the bedroom cracked and we were dripped upon!

The roof has been repaired and now the ceiling is being done, which means shifting out mid-week, I guess we'll be in the spare room with the new cats, will have to manage somehow. You can't say they have had a boring life since moving in with us

I may start a tidy up out the back garden later, shame my gardener couldn't make it this weekend, but I can make a start on sweeping and sorting out things for the tip.

See you later x

Re: Sunny Saturday, almost seasonal!

It's been a beautiful morning here although it has clouded over a wee bit just now.
Got 2 loads of washing out, 3rd on the way. Took Rayne up to the moors where she had a really good run around, chasing birds into the woods, chasing balls, running through boggy marsh land.
Not much planned, just catching up on all the domestic crap, do the books and then off out with the dog again, wash the van and clean the crates, that kinda stuff.
If I can get it all out of the way today, maybe Rayne and I will take to the hills tomorrow if it's still nice.

Well it has been glorious here too. Sunshine YEAH

Also had washing out and on the line three lots in the end, and managed to get out into the garden and decided to take the leap and plant up some viola's and bellflowers in some tubs using the last of the compost up.
Looks lovely seeing yellow and colour in the garden from the window. Cleaned down where the bird feeder is and thrown the kong and ring for Sal in the process - and then she relaxed in the sunshine more sense than me I was grafting away will be out again tomorrow as long as this weather holds and will try and snap a picture of her (not hard she potters these days or sleeps. She will be stiff tomorrow I think as ahe was dashing about jumpng for her kong and ball -she is so eager I forget she is not as young as she was.

Anyhow see you all in a bit.

Sunshine here too, but it's still cold.

OH down to the coast with the boys to see his Mum and I've been cleaning (cleaner's on holiday + house is covered in dust) and grouting. I'm getting a bit fed up with bloomin' grouting!

Cats have been outside lounging in the garden in sunny spots but both are back in and kipping noisily now.

I'm ashamed to admit that the allotment has been neglected for the last 6 months and with all the building stuff I can't see us getting down there for a bit. Might just have to tidy it up and not grow much this year as time seems not be be my own at the moment.
