Heart breaking

It was with great saddness this week that I learned Ben's mum & sister (who had been homed together) had been returned to the rescue along with a 8 month old kitten.

Ben 's mum is so frightened & bewildered & very very close to her daughter. The rescue will try & place them together but reality is this may not be possible. Ben's mum was only a kitten herself last year when she had kittens

Ben 's mum & sister just before homing / mum is black

Ben's mum yesterday - she looks so sad & forlorn - when she was let out of her carrier yesterday, she went straight to the run she had been in last year & hid at the back - she knew where she was

Marital problems and so the innocent suffer .......

Re: Heart breaking

That's very sad. But thankfully the cats were returned to the shelter and not left to fend for themselves, sometimes with the best will in the world - from all concerned - things don't work out

Re: Heart breaking

Fingers crossed that a loving home can be found - animals are getting rehomed, albeit more slowly. I know she's a dog, but Dora's mum's new home has worked out and she has been adopted now, so just Dora's brother Charlie from that little family still to find a home. Best wishes to Ben's mum and sister. As Yola says, at least they were returned to the rescue and not just abandoned.

Re: Heart breaking

Absolutely no interest so far. Only ones ringing the rescue are those looking for young kittens
