Sunny Sunday

Afternoon all! It's sunny here atm, and although it clouded over earlier the sun came out again. After a long time of not getting out with Monty and OH for walkies, I have been out this morning and had a walk, not very long but it felt good. We met loads of dogs and Monty only got humped once, so with any luck the pheromones after his neuter may be wearing off. He is a very tired little boy and is now having his siesta.

I had a bit of a pang just now - it's the beginning of Daylight Saving Time in USA and Canada today which reminded me of the discussions we would have with Eileen today about how far behind us now she would be ....... bless you Eileen, still in my thoughts and still really missing you.

Just in passing I hear that a new series of Downton Abbey starts next Thursday I think - for those of you who watch the series so far.

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. Extra special Daylight Savings cuddles to all Catsey cats today and a special virtual cuddle for Leia.

Re: Sunny Sunday

afternoon Angie, it's nice to bring Eileen into the conversation every so often and Leia.
Glad you managed to get out for a walk with Monty.
Today we took the dogs on a seven mile walk around the river and then back along the road. At the end of April i am doing an eleven mile walk in aid of the charity i work for so was getting a little practice in. The river is tidal and had come over it's banks so both dogs had a good paddle up to their chests although they won't swim. Kwame began to whinge when he came out as he didn't like being wet. We called for an ice cream at the ice cream parlour on the way home, i had a hot chocolate with a shortbread biscuit.
Yesterday i bough a tiny handmade Tom kitten, unfortunately Kwame stole it from the bedroom last night and both dogs have dismantled him. I may be able to get him back looking ok as i can't bear to throw him away.

Re: Sunny Sunday

Evening all, glorious day here and in Birmingham.
Had a fantastic time at Crufts, spent way too much money but my wee dog is very happy.
Had a really lovely meal out with Kazz and Youngstevie last night, absolutely stuffed I was.
Got loads to catch up on so will catch you all later xxx

Re: Sunny Sunday

Have to say I had a fantastic day Saturday and then a lovely meal on the evening, I hope Elaine and Pauline thought it was okay I know they were laughing but not sure if that was out of pity

I was on my best behaviour.

Off out again now quite a busy weekend. ENjoyed discover dogs and of course the YKC events I swear it is bigger this year Crufts as a whole I kept getting lost and I knew where I was it was finding others that baffled me.
