Re: bright Thursday

Morning Pamela - glad you have a nice bright day, it's cloudy here but I'm hoping it may brighten up.

Happy 2nd Birthday Harris! Hope your Dad brings you an ace present.

Monty was a superstar at his first advanced training class last night, so Catsey "be good" vibes must have worked! Mind you, only the trainer's two dogs and assistant trainer's one dog were there with Monty, so he didn't have too much distraction. A new exercise where he was sent away to his bed over one jump and then two, he then went into a distant down and had to stay while his handler (OH) walked around the jumps and around Monty on his bed and back to the start and then called him to come ....... a natural! Couldn't believe what a clever boy he was, did it perfectly several times. I was SO PROUD of him. Ah well, these things bring cheer to a dog owner's heart. He was a very tired little dog afterwards quite apart from the fact we didn't get home until just before 10.00 - he'd never been out that late.

Sorry for the essay!

Have a good day everyone and chin tickles for Catsey cats from me today as a celebration

Happy Birthday Harris!
It is bright and sunny here too. I'm on a train again, heading to that London for various meetings. OH got back last night from a couple of days away sorting out his Dad's funeral. Tolly was very glad to see 'his' monkey back- I am a poor substitute. I think Tolly's greeting cheered OH up too.

What a gorgeously handsome boy you must be very proud of him, i'd love to have a dog and teach it obedience and agility it must be very rewarding, but with 3 boys I doubt we'd ever have the time to make a commitment like that, maybe when they leave home

Thanks Moonbeam - we love him! Wouldn't your boys like to have a dog?

Re: bright Thursday

We'd all love a dog, especially the boys and I have been tempted at times as we're always out and about in the countryside and I often think would'nt it be lovelly if we had a dog with us, but then I think of the practical side they're aged 1,3 and 6 and my eldest has autism and ADD, he is very good with animals but we have so many appointments we take him to and when the OH is at work I don't know if I could manage the buggy and a dog. The cats fit in perfectly as they sleep most of the day and are really active on an evening when the boys are in bed, and I can go out without worrying about the house being destroyed as we rent Sorry for the essay
