Merry Christmas - what are your plans?Merry Christmas to everyone! Two big FIRSTS for us this year - first year in 27 years of marriage that OH and I will be alone at Christmas; and also first year that we will be walking our own doggy on Christmas Day! So Monty does have a huge responsibility to keep us amused on the day, luckily he doesn't know about the weight on his shoulders. A waggy tail will make the day for me.

This is the First year that we will not see our son who currently lives in Australia.  Our daughter is working part of Christmas day so a much quieter Christmas for us than usual, although we have our 8 year old foster lad with us who is VERY excited! |

I hope it's a lovely day for you both; it will be different not having MIL there....  Opening presents and the special meal are really the only thing that makes it different from an ordinary quiet Sunday here. |

I'll be with my parents and brother... It's a last for us... My brother is getting married over the summer, so next Christmas we'll either be one short, or have one extra!!! It's exciting, but there is no doubt things will be different.  |

Just me and OH this year, as son and DIL are with her family, and our daughter and her man are with his family so it will be very low key. As a friend put it so succinctly "just like Sunday lunch but with crackers to pull!" |

As always, just the 4 of us here But that's the way I like it. I'm happy to go visiting on boxing day. We'll get up at 8 (the girls are up much earlier but they know not to knock until 8  ) open pressies, go to church at 10, sit down for lunch at 2, watch the Queens speech at 3 then have dessert lol. After that it's sit and munch chocolate waiting for the Dr Who special |

christmas eve will be spent in the pub lol load of us all getting together for drinkies. got 1 extra this year. old friend of mine. he lives in france now, but over to see family. he has a tv show (le salvager) so a bit of a star lol have to post a link to his wiki page (no less) and christmas day open prezzies, pop over to see charlies mum. then picking up a good friend of ours, hes stopping over till boxing day. so lots of food. choccys. drinkies  and i said ill do dinner but got 2 men in the house who are going to do the washing up and wiping up.only fair eh?? i dont do deccys or a tree, the dog thinks its an indoor toilet lol |
