Sunflower Saturday

Hi, people! Late Daily again. Sunny and relatively mild: nearing 10:45 A M and 15℃ (59℉); happened to see the sunrise this morning as I was up to go to the loo and it was stunning, but a red sun at morning means the bad weather is coming! The weather people agree that rain's on the way. I was sitting outside in the sun this morning checking my mail before I picked grass, when I heard a loud noise, and saw the geese flying by high above; first time I've seen them this season. They are so beautiful. Anyhow, that's all my news.

Hope all are well and enjoying whatever you're doing! Smile!

Re: Sunflower Saturday

Quiet day here Eileen. Overcast, meaning dark early and I could easily believe it almost bedtime rather than almost teatime!

Breezy day here - means a day of jumpers, blankets and catling cuddles as there's a vent direct to outside in the lounge - something to do with the heating system - and of course, makes it impossible to stay warm when it's blowy out. Saw some birds cavorting about earlier though, so that was nice to watch.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Re: Sunflower Saturday

We're all allowed dark days Shelley, and the lack of light doesn't help either.

Pamela... Wish I could cover the vent up - tried it last year, but was told off by the council when the gas fire was checked as it's supposed to make sure that I don't get carbon monoxide poisoning due to the central heating system... Thought it would be ok if I didn't use the gas fire, but apparently not.

Re: Sunflower Saturday

Not really - unless I want to restrict myself to my bedroom - vent is in the lounge, which is the thoroughfare from the hall where the kitchen and bathroom are located, through to my bedroom...
