Gloomy TuesdayAfternoon all - where is everybody? Very overcast here today, threatening rain, but nothing falling yet. I have planted my runner beans out this morning. Glad to get that done - feels like summer might be around the corner! I am going to plant up some tomato plants this afternoon in the greenhouse before it's too late ..... maybe not, phone call re work! Have a good day everyone!

Hi, Angie! Yes, where is everyone? Very clammy and cool here. only 18 C (64 F). rai on and off all day, some to be heavy. Normal high is 24 C, haven't seen that in a while. My tomatoes need to be set out, getting too big for their pots, but the ground is too wet to dig after all the rain. Am taking it easy today, I think I overdid a bit yesterday with Chris discarding stuff. But my appetite is completely back to normal!!  How are the girls getting along with their new roommate today? That's about all the news here, hope all are well. |

Very gloomy here but no actual rain! Was doing the more fun part of my job this morning and was at Audley End House talking about plans for the summer- I'm part of the Education Team at English heritage so get to play with stately homes and castles. It makes up for the spreadsheets....... |

Afternoon all... Gloomy here too - though windy rather than wet. I've been at work... quiet evening planned tonight - I need it cause I still feel like I want my bed now. But beyond feeding self, doing dishes and waiting for Mr Tesco Delivery Man I have no real plans for tonight. Dishes need doing cause otherwise place will be in twice the state it usually is when he gets here!!! CS that does sound like a lot of fun!  Glad your appetite is back to normal Eileen, such good news. Hope work went alright Angie - the planting stuff all sounds good. |

Evening all I have been to work and am now home, taken Sal out and just about to have dinner pork chops, mash, veg and homemade gravy....yummy. While out with Sal I saw a chap with the most adorable red Staffpup........gorgeous. Eileen glad that your appitite is back to normal......did you get my PM the other day? The weather here has been overcast and threatening to rain but no show. Opps got to go phone.......... |

Very glad to hear your appetite has returned Eileen - that's very encouraging and will help you get your strength back. Cats' staff - what an amazingly interesting part of your job - would go a very long way to make up for those spreadsheets. Squirrel - hope all those dishes are sparkly now! Now, that's making my mouth water Kazz - I haven't had pork chops in ages! Do you have apple sauce with them? |
