"the bridge"

I have read some of the gone but not forgotten posts after reading about dandy. The stories and tributes are lovely to all of our furry friends who have sadly passed.

I dont mean to sound ignorant but what is the bridge that our friends go to? It is a lovely thought that they are away to play with their fellow feline friends who have passed, what is the history behind cats going to the bridge when they pass?

Re: "the bridge"

thanx anne, that is a lovely thought to have when facing sad times. I have never heard of the bridge until joining the forum, a lovely way to describe where our beloved pets go when their time to leave us comes.
