Pepper is dead.


Pepper, one of our 15 year old goats died overnight. She ate her tea last night and had 2 rugs on, but was thin and struggled to keep weight on although she was still very bright. We're gutted, we've had her 7 years and she was a feisty old girl, nearly lost her because of arthritis and she was the first (only) goat to be x-rayed at our vet. I feel horrified that I may have missed something or she died of the cold.

Lord, farthing you are really having a dreadful time. I am absolutely sure that you have done all you could for Pepper. ((((HUGS)))) and RIP Pepper - I have no idea how long goats can live, but 15 sounds like she had a good long life.
