Little Cat takes up residence

Here are some pics of a shelter my husband has built for the cats nearby who have no shelter.
The residence has double cavivity walls with insulation and staggered entrances to protect from the wind. As you can see one of the Cats has moved in today

Please give your OH a hug from me Shelley. Hopefully they'll be snug and protected. Insulated walls? Brilliant!

Great job, bless you and your OH for caring! They'll be warm and safe from the elements now; what a good feeling.

How fantastic We have built shelters in the garden before for strays that have taken up residence, but never anything as good as that. Well done to you both x

Thanks everyone, will pass your thoughts on to Howard. He has worked hard on it. One cat does come into the house at night when the dog has gone to bed, she uses the cat flap, but the little tabby won't come in at all so at least she has a roof over her head.

Re: Little Cat takes up residence

Awww how lovely I have an unused kennel in my back garden which could be modified but I don't think any cats ever come into my garden, could always put in the front garden though, hmmmm there is an idea!
