My heart really skipped a beat...

Our cats are part time outdoor cats, especially Harry. Harry is never outside for more than a couple of hours and we call him our little old man because he is always in his bed, fast asleep everynight no later than 9.30pm. Vinnie and Lola are normally in by 11pm at the latest and then we do 'lock down' which is when we lock the cat flap and then they go out again in the morning.

Tonight we got worried, as Harry wasn't in and we had not seen (or heard) him in a few hours - very unlike Harry. So at 10.30 we hunted the house down, we looked everywhere for him...but no Harry

We walked all around where we live, checked neighbours gardens and looked everywhere. We came home, checked the house again... and no Harry so we went out again for another walk around.

When we came home again and still no Harry anywhere (this is now 1.20am) we decided to go out for a drive to see if we could see him... as I pick up the car keys... who walks in the room... Harry the only thing is he didn't come in from outside... so he has obviously found a hiding place that neither of us know of!

I am so glad that he is ok... but I have just spent the last hours beside myself with worry. At least my little old man is home safe and sound!!!

Thanks.

Our house isn't huge either... so we had covered all bases (or so we thought)! The funniest part was when he came into the room, half asleep and moaning as best he does, like as if to say.. what on earth are you doing, I am trying to get some sleep!!

Thank goodness he's OK. Wonder if you will ever be able to find out his new hiding place?

So glad it all turned out ok. OH often leaves the (sliding) wardrobe doors ever so slightly open then wonders where our cats have gone he's always surprised when they are found, hiding among the shoes at the bottom! Cats can always find a snug little spot I wonder where Harry had been?

Phew, glad he is OK. Smudge can do that trick, we call it doing a Schroedinger.

Nope... he is refusing to tell us where he has been! Little rascal!! He couldn't understand why we made such a fuss of him when he did turn up!
