Helga.

As you know Helga arrived here weighing a massive 8kgs in May, over the last 4 months she has gone down to 6.14kg.

She has turned from a big slug who couldn't clean herself into an amazing cat. She still can't run far without wheezing ( going to get her checked out for asthma soon, just in case) but she is so playful. She has a really nice character, although she isn't cuddly, you can't put your feet under the duvet with them being attacked for fun.

Today I found her snuggled up in my jumper cupboard and after being thrown out of there ( not literally) she ended up on top of the bookcase- it is 6ft tall and she must have climbed onto the scratching post beside it and clambered onto the bookcase. Last time I looked she was still there.
I wasn't sure if I would take to her when she first arrived, but I am very fond of her now, it just makes her past even more sad for me.

Re: Helga.

What a fantastic weight loss. She sounds as if she has managed to worm her way into your heart.

Re: Helga.

She's really doing well in the weight loss department! Well done, you, not easy getting a cat to reduce. How nice that she's livelier and feeling so much better now.
