Better Monday

It's the weather that's better. OH and I have been out in the garden this morning. A bit chilly earlier on but warming up. I'm renovating my cold frame.

Wondering where Kazz is - I think it's right and proper that she start our day for us, but it's lunchtime and so I've stepped in. Hope you are OK Kazz???

Wonderful news about pinklizzy!

Have a great day everyone.

Re: Better Monday

Hi all. Still suffering with my cystitis (I was so desperate on Saturday night that I was contemplating taking Balie's meds), so have some powder from the pharmacy and barley water which is supposed to help - apparently. If that doesn't work I'll have to get some antibiotics. Very annoyed as I haven't had a bout since Dominik was born (nearly 7 years ago).

So I'm in the office and doing bits. Have done Elaine's website copy (just a tweak), edited some copy for Sennheiser and I'm now about to hop onto the MAC and finalise a case study that my (absent) designer should have done ages ago.

Re: Better Monday

Sorry to hear about your cystitis Yola - barley water is good and so is cranberry juice. Drink plenty - I'm sure you know that but keep off the alcohol!

Re: Better Monday

Lovely sunny and warm day here

I believe Kazz has to go to the hospital today to have her stitches out ......... hope all goes well, Kazz

Yola, have you tried cranberry juice, that's supposed to be good for cystitis. Hope it clears up soon for you.

Re: Better Monday

Hi, all! Sunny here but continues unseasonably chilly: 4 C overnight in the City, far suburbs got frost. Now sunny, 11 C (51 F), way below normal, but at least the winds have finally died down. Still very dry, we really need rain; had to water veg bed again this morning, Sensible Leia's on the radiator as the heat is still on. No errands today, no news.

Yola, sorry about the cystitis, the doctors I worked for also prescribed cranberry juice, as others have said. Hope Kazz' stitch removal went well. Off to read PL's thread!

Enjoy the day.

Re: Better Monday

Sorry to hear you have cystitis Yola, i used to get it and it's awfully painful.
Elaine you have every right to be a ranty women from hell, rant on
Horrible day for me yesterday, fell out with O/H over who was finishing the brews off and we are still not speaking, how pathetic we both are.
Took the Pup a walk, she found a big bird skeleton complete with rotting flesh and feathers and ran off into the fields with it. I was so scared she would swallow a bone as they are needle sharp. I must admit to slapping her when i caught her and dragged her home. I was so hot that i had to jump in the shower.
Slightly better day today but still not brilliant i'm afraid.
Does anyone ever feel like running away from home

Oh Shelley, I know how you feel! I occasionally fall out with my OH and then I do often plan running away!

Re: Better Monday

Did not notice this daily sorry did not start one lax of me......had a roughish night but that was due to worrying about not the stitches coming out but the fact the wound might have opened up again.....but as it happens stitches all but one still in and feel really good.

Yola I feel for you, my advice is drink....just fluids...anything.....as long as you drink.

I will try to start tomorrows.....
