Re: Power outage

I know, when a regular doesn't show up you do wonder: if I didn't have power back later was going to call a friend who wasn't in the affected area and ask him to e-mail you, Mags! If you get an e-mail from someone named Mark, that's about me.

Amazing how addicted to the Net you get, and how powerless you feel when you can't access it.

And dinner was messed up with no electricity: had just made a sandwich and crisps when everything came back,,,, at least I can have my cuppa now!

Nightmare! I'm so addicted I get jittery when I can't get on, yet I can go on holiday without any side effects lol. I'm sure you'll make up for lost time though

Re: Power outage

Glad everything's OK now Eileen. What did you do with those hours???? I'm lost without the computer, but you do tend to find other things to fill the time, don't you? And then you think - I should have done/finished that ages ago!

Re: Power outage

Actually I didn't do anything productive ,,, sat on the porch and griped with Chris's mom who was also sitting outside; she had been on her computer too. Read Time magazine and did the crossword, put out rubbish/recycling, filled the bird feeder, moved the seedlings upstairs to the West window for afternoon sun .... just pottered around! I am badly addicted, and really missed by Catsey fix!

LOL, Mags, so right; it's like the Hotel California, isn't it? "You can check out any time but you can never leave...."
