Pixie!

I had a lovely suprise this morning!
Battersea Dogs and Cats home is celebrating their 150th anniversary this year and the Royal Mail have produced some to mark this.
One of the dogs featured on there is my Pixie She came into the home as an orphan at 3 days old, I took her home and she was hand-reared. We had her until she was 12 weeks old and it broke my heart to have to give her up but she was a big big girl (7kg at 6 weeks ) and we were living in a tiny flat. She has an amazing home now though

(She's the first dog on the left)

How she was then

What a lovely way to celebrate! Great stamps! I take it that your Pixie is the first dog pictured on the top row left hand side??? Lord, she would have been huge, but she certainly doesn't look it in your photo - what a little poppet she looked then!

I shall look out for those stamps Liz.

What a great way to raise awareness of the work Battersea do - you must be chuffed 'your' babe is a star!
