Forgive me

When I was about 9 years old I found a kitten on the farm yard of a one time friend.

It was bleeding and mewing pathetically--I drowned it.

That moment has haunted me forever.

I`m older now and have given comfort and shelter to the odd stray or rescue --but if I could have a time machine??

Re: Forgive me

What can I say Steph? You have obviously felt guilt and remorse for what you did then as a little boy. I suspect that the farmer or any adult you might have taken the kitten to would have done the same thing at the time.

Some people, you included, have moved on from that age and time and have found and given love and care to other cats since. I forgive you.

I forgive you.

Bless you. Odd how childhood memories never go away-every cat I have ever owned gets that `extra` cuddle as a way of purging my guilt
