Absolutely no way I'm afraid, short of keeping them indoors all the time. It's their nature. As far as mice and rats go that's the reason our ancestors made friends with cats in the first place ............ I do feel sorry for the voles though. |

Just resign yourself; it's their nature and they will do it; punishing and scolding will do no good and simply confuse them. |

I agree with everyone else, if you have a cat it is something you have to accept about them. I don't like it and have rescued countless mice, birds, etc over the years, but it is their nature. |

All you can do is put a collar with a bell on them, though I can't guarantee that would stop the behaviour completely. |
