Hestia had her checkupIt was yesterday for her annual vaccines and exam. I can't believe I've had her a year now! It was my first experience taking her out of the house. Her previous owner warned me she was a bit of a pain but I've had worse. She serenaded with meows in the car on the way there and back but she was really good with the vet. Except for one time and it was really cute what she did... The vet left the room to get the vaccine. She promptly jumped off the table and squeezed herself into a tight little ball trying to make herself invisible behind a framed picture of a dog. She had her eyes shut tight and her face pressed to the wall like "If I can't see you, you can't see me..."  Vet said she looked great. And I can't believe this part but... She weighs a pound less than Kuan Yin (12 lbs..). I've been teasing her she's the fat kitty of the house but I guess not! It's Kuan Yin

Glad she's in good health and the visit wasn't too traumatic for her. and can it really be a year since she came??? Love the "I'm invisible" story...that's so sweet. |
