my 4 new boys

Hubby finally let me have my guinea pigs lol, but only because these ones were a special case. A local pet forum I visit put out an appeal for homes as they had over SEVENTY GP's brought in, a mix of males and females (and most of the girls were pregnant). Apparently they were from an elderly breeder who had let things get out of hand, and then he broke his shoulder in a fall. So someone on the forum offered me a fab hutch for them, and I collected my new boys on wednesday. So here they are.

Bruce (The Boss), he's Roberts

Elvis (mine)

Rebel, the baby. He's Raechels

And Einstein belongs to Hayley

And here are a few of the hutch

In case you are wondering what the orange marks on them are. They were all vet checked and treated for mites, so the vet marked each one as he did them so as to know who had been treated

Definitely special cases, Alex. Glad you and your family were able to give them a good home. Fab hutch! Do they all live together?

Re: my 4 new boys

yes they do angie. Which apparently is quite unusual for boys. It tends to only be 2 to a hutch or they fight. But as these 4 are already bonded (from the conditions they were living in I guess) then they are fine. The hutch is really quite impressive. It's just over 6 foot long, and gives them a lot of room. I just need to get a few tunnels for it now and it'll be perfect
