previous foster coming to visit.

I got a text today from somebody I didn't recognise until they told me their cat's name. He was a foster cat we had who had lots of issues. He had 3 legs and his owner had mental health issues, and so did he. If you picked him up he went for your face deliberately. We were rather concerned about the owner who would take him, but he got a very understanding owner, and although she had some problems with him, gave him a chance and he is a happy cat now. She is going away for a week and has asked if we can take him, we had him to stay over a year ago and haven't heard from them since, so I am delighted to hear he is well and hopefully see him again next week.
It has made my day.

Sounds as if you managed to match cat and owner well in that case. How lovely to know he's still OK. I wonder if his behaviour will have changed - hope so!
