Things to do, bags to pack

Probably wont be on much over the next 2 weeks. Off Parrot sitting again.
Think of me on thursday, my birthday, on my own, no cards, no visitors, just me and the birdies.
Just getting myself organised, got Hills i/d in for Eva as well as a feliway diffuser, rescue remedy, pro-kolin. Will also leave her the t-shirt I am currently wearing so she can smell me and will try to pop in and visit her.
Got to clean out the hamster tank and litter boxes, pack my bag etc.
The forecast is snow Great
Got another house sit booked for the end of the month too.
May be on a little while later, if Nadia leaves her pc on, then I might be able to check on you all.
Other than that.....
Bon voyage.

I hope all goes well and the parrots behave for you Elaine... You really must get a laptop as part of your pet-sitting equipment!

Hope you manage to get on here sometime during the next fortnight, if not, have a lovely birthday....we'll be thinking of you...

Parrots are smart...by Thursday you should have been able to teach one to say "Happy Birthday" for you!

Seriously, going to miss you, chum; hope Nadia leaves the PC on. And early Happy Birthday to you!

I can't promise we'll behave while you're gone, though...

Re: Things to do, bags to pack

Thankyou to the only 3 people on this forum that really care about me
You are true friends
I am sure to have my hands full with the birds, just hope they dont give me too much trouble. There is a new addition too, a rescue amazon, hope he relaxes around me and doesnt stress too much.

Do you have to stay at the house all day and night - or are you allowed out???????? Surely you have to go and buy food etc. if so, is there an internet cafe anywhere near?

The thing is that there are so many birds and the large ones all need some individual time spent with them. I do also still have to walk the dogs and yes, get some food in.
No internet cafes any where near. Toots being the youngest and a hand rear needs lots of attention to keep her tame.

She sounds like a brave wee mite - being alone with all those birds all day everyday for 2 weeks. I'd go tweeting mad!
