Snow!!This is the view from the porch steps about 10 am this morning.  Going to snow all day, turn to sleet and freezing rain tonight and some of tomorrow, then turn to all rain as it warms....hopefully to wash the mess away!. The freezing rain is the worrisome part...fear of the ice bringing down power lines. No way am I going out in this: dashed out to rescue the papers from under the snow after a late sleep; will be stuck indoors! We managed to escape snow so far, but the luck has run out...

Looks pretty at the moment Eileen, but understand your worries about the power lines. Hopefully it will clear itself away without causing anyone (especially you) any problems. |

Yup - just seem Washington on our news again. Brrrr (Something mus have happened to keep our major reporters over there? Something from last week maybe?) Take care Eileen and keep cosy. Hurrah for books! |

It's Obama's first full week and he's busy dismantling a lot of the damage Bush did (closing Guantanamo for one!), so perhaps that's why your reporters are still here. Hope they brought their woollies! |

Eek! The freezing rain part is the most worrisome, I hope it doesn't hit you too badly. We have snow here today and it's supposed to rain as well and like you I always worry about the rain afterwards more than the actual snow. Keep warm! |

Freezing rain is horrible, definately best to stay safe and warm indoors!! Oh, but that snow is lovely!! I do miss snow sooooooo much!!!!!  |
