Thanks Moli, I'm sure I'll be the most annoying patient ever-want to know what everything is, what setting their machine uses etc!

Re: Pinklizzy!

Just a quick update-the tests revealed that I have a fractured rib in the middle of my chest (at the back) which hasn't healed and is causing the pain and breathlessness I've been suffering from. They also think it is the cause of the recurrent bouts of pneumonia because of my inability to take deep breaths. It was somehow missed on the four chest x-rays I've had but just need to rest and hope it heals.
Thanks for you good thoughts, very much appreciated
Lizx

Good that you finally got a diagnosis, Liz; what a shame it took so long! Did they estimate how long it will take to heal? I had a cracked front rib years ago, can't remember how long it took, but really hurt to cough!

Re: Pinklizzy!

glad it turned out to be a simple thing. Poor you tho'. I cracked a couple of ribs after coming of my horse a few years back. Sore to laugh, cough, breath deeply etc. At least you can rest it. Did they give you painkillers?
