Camas Lily...anyone grown these?


I'm getting bulb catalogues by the score; and am quite taken by these..Camassia quamash. It's a native American plant, early flowering and will grow in shade. Plus, it's blue...you know how I love blue flowers. Am tempted...would look nice under the Japanese maple in the front...

I've never heard of those either Eileen but they look beautiful.

I 'googled' them and discovered they are also know as the Indian Hyacinth....
Very interesting reading too......
