A really unusual amaryllis


I'm getting lots of bulb catalogues lately, and saw this ...amazing shape and color; gotta have it! Going to order one before they're out of stock!

That's really beautiful Eileen - what is it called in the catalogue? I have been getting loads of catalogues too and don't think I've seen that type of amaryllis. I keep looking at the species tulips.

It's stunning, isn't it. It's in the Dutch Gardens catalogue, listed under Dutch amaryllis, and is called Sumatra. Order # is 31345. Here's the link:
