Daily thread ~ SundayMorning everyone!  Not a bad day here, it's cloudy but dry and warm........ roll on next week, it's "supposed" to be sun, sun, sun!! Just the usual here today, have a half leg of lamb roasting in the oven which will be accompanied by roast potatoes, broad beans and peas (from SIL's allotment), broccoli and carrots ......and not forgetting the mint sauce.. I furminated Cassie this morning and had quite a ball of hair from her. Her coat is looking a lot sleeker and healthier now. The sun has just come out here.....lovely!! Have a good day all!

Afternoon all Well I have been surrounded by invalids all week  . I had to take Sean to the hospital for a chest xray on Fri. He hasnt been right since he got back from Iraq. Turns out he has some sort of lung infection.John came back from Turkey ill. He is a bit better but not right. Anyway I now have a little me time so here I am  . Nothing much going on today exept a little gardening I think and of course the dreaded ironing.Going to catch up on whats been going on here. Hope you all have a good day. |

Afternoon all. We are supposed to be having a BBQ at 5pm but it looks very cloudy and possible rain. It started off with about 24+ and now down to 10 people coming. Hopefully getting my daughters laptop sorted out this afternoon as well. Lets hope it doesnt rain. jane |

Hi, all!. Sunny warm weather continues, 29C now, but no rain in sight. It's been a dry month; we could use some; have to water the garden daily.....your dinners sound nice; I'm having a broiled crab cake, brussels sprouts and curried potatoes. Hope your forecast for sun next week is right; and hope also your BBQ didn't get rained out, Kado! Enjoy the day! |
