Daily thread ~ FridayMorning folks, the weekend is just around the corner!  Dry but overcast here .......still fairly warm though.. If it stays dry, I'll be out in the garden dead-heading later.. Have a good day and weekend everyone!

It's a home day today; with both juniors  Dominik has got Wall.e fever as we were watching the trailers on the pixar site yesterday  Looks like I'm going to have to venture into the despised Disney shop later today to check out the various gifts as he's alreay lining them up as birthday presents.My new Laura Ashley coffee table has arrived . . . it's smaller than I thought, but useful as it has a lift up lid for all the DVDs and lots of little drawers for odds and ends (of which I have plenty). Just waiting for B&Q to deliver my oak worktops (god only knows where I'm going to store 3m long peices of wood ). Looks like OH's going to be busy on Sunday  Dull and a bit chilly here . . . but no rain as yet. |

Afternoon all. Been up with the larks, helping my mum at the B&B, my sister is on holiday, then walked my sisters dog, Holly. She decided on a quick swim in the river so had to dry her off and groom her before going shopping. Am now giving the house a clean while the cats play on the stairs and out the back. Got friends coming for tea tonight so better get on with the cleaning and then preparing dinner. I also have two cats to go feed and play with but will wait till G gets home. |

Lovely weather continues, sun and 30C right now. There was a t'storm at the airport yesterday afternoon, but not a drop of rain here...I'm only about 4 miles away! Odd how they can be so local... had to water the garden as it's dry. Got goodies and that new wine I like at the market, nothing on the agenda for the afternoon. Yola: new coffee table sounds interesting, pic? Enjoy the day! |

Afternoon everyone  Didn't go out for dinner last night in the end as Tony had a crap day at work and was very tired. Stayed in with a nice Pizza instead. Answered a knock at the door just before lunch to a gorgeous bunch of roses and foliage, a balloon and some chocolates   He is SUCH a sweetie Fizz had us in stitches as she took one look at the balloon and it's ribbons, grabbed it and took off upstairs with it We kept retrieving it and 5 minutes later it would be off somewhere else. Silly kitty Nothing much planned for the rest of the day, just chilling Have a great day all |
