Spike

Here's Spike (AKA Pookies, Fat Bloke, Spook, Spookums, etc.) Some nicer photos of him for once, he's so elusive.

He's about 12-years-old, and one quarter persian. Although I always call his Mother [RIP] a bi-colour tabby, she was in fact a persian cross.

Bonus:

Honey in his favourite sleeping spot. (On top of the shed roof )

Last night I caught our next door neighbour talking to Honey through the window opposite our's (he's a lovely kid, 'bout 12 I think) and it was the first time I've ever seen Honey not shy to a stranger. He was pawing up at the window sill and meowing to the boy, it was really funny.

Re: Spike

You can't really see the persian in Spike can you? Still, he's a seriously handsome tabby

That's so nice about Honey 'chatting' to the boy. It's especially nice to hear of a lad that is open and warm to animals . . . most these days seems apathetic at the least

Re: Spike

Well he has a slightly squished face, moreso than most other tabbies I've seen - he's also absolutely tiny and short-legged. XD

You couldn't see much persian in his Mum either, except that she's was even smaller than Spike and had slightly fluffier fur.

Her daughter, who belonged to my Godfather, apparently looked almost entirely persian despite being 3/4 tabby.

And yeah.. Our other neighbours are the complete opposite, their sons used to throw stones at our old dog when she was mostly blind and deaf.

That first picture is wonderful, he looks so chilled out and happy - such cute markings, his wee little orange bits!

Spike looks to be a real gentleman tabby - hope he is! Give him an ear scratch from me and a hello purrrrr from Merlin (who is also a tabby!)
