Wet week

I hope Yola is enjoying her holiday in Devon in spite of the awful weather in the South-West.

Hopefully she has packed the wellies and taken lots of games and toys for the boys and made the most of it. There are some lovely animal centres and 'theme' parks in Devon but you really do need the dry weather to get around them.

Looking forward to your return Yola and hearing all about it..

Re: Wet week

You're about right there Mags! Wet Wet Wet and I don't mean the band

Wednesday was truly horrible so we went to Plymouth for the day which was actually rather nice. Went to the national aquarium which had me snapping like mad at all the fish and other superb sealife on display. We managed to get out during most days, despite the rain. We became kind of oblivious to getting wet after a while

Future holidays will unfortunately be taken abroad though as I so wanted to see the boys playing on the beach but we only got about 1/2 a day to do that inbetween the rain and high winds.

Am about to download some pics so will post some of them later. I took lots at the aquarium as we will be redecorating the spare room later this year to make it Dominik's room and it'll have a sunken pirate ship theme

Will post some pics in the next day or so . . . however am very glad to be back and the cats are delighted to see us.

Re: Wet week

Welcome back, Yola; weather sounded really dispiriting, what a pity! Look forward to the aquarium pics.
