my first attempt at sewing..

i am such a failure at a woman.. i know no domestic skills at all i wanted to make a ferret bed and my OH said he would teach me how to sew but he's been really busy at work and tired at home so i just decided to literally get a needle and thread and guess my way through it.
here's taz's bed i made..it's no martha stewart creation but it's functional. i pretty much got a stuffed animal at the thrift store..removed stuffing and sewed in some fabric for him to lay on..and added some hooks to put on the cage.
what do you think?

Looks mighty inventive to me Tink! What does Taz think of it? I'd like a picture of Taz asleep in his mummy's handiwork hammock. I'd say you've done a very good job!
