Thursday Daily

Morning all
Very busy here today. I have some photo's of Ceilidh's play from yesterday I'll post when I get a chance.

I'm getting my nails done first thing. then going into town for bits and bobs. Derek is fitting the new shower while I'm out.

Ceilidh has to be back at school for 5.30 for there evening performance of the play tonight.

When I get the chance to draw breath I'll be back

Re: Thursday Daily

Afternoon all!

Went to see Katie's play\nativity this morning. It was called "Grandpa's Birthday" and was story about a Grandpa who had his birthday on Christmas Day. He was telling his grandchildren why his birthday was so special as that was the day baby Jesus was born. The play then changed into a Nativity scene and was acted by the children as the Grandpa and his family watched from the side. It was very well done, plenty of songs and some dancing too.

There is something magical about young children acting, singing and dancing and I must admit I had a lump in my throat all the way through it.

Re: Thursday Daily

Jac, Mags - how lovely! These moments are so special aren't they? I had no idea quite how much before I went to Dominik's 1st Christmas play last year

Just been down to Somerfield and got a weight watchers curry for lunch. Will be totally undone by the crisps and chocolate that will follow

Approved the article that has been written about me for Berkshire Life and sent them some mugshots for inclusion - not sure whether this is a Jan or Feb publication but will let you know (I think it'll be on their website too)

Afternoon, Jac, Mags, Moli, Yola! You all sound so busy! My usual quiet day here; marketing and going to wrap presents this afternoon. It's a chilly (2 degree) raw morning but the predicted rain isn't here yet, thank goodness. No rain all summer and nothing but rain lately; ah well, at least it's not snow!

Hope you have a lovely afternoon, all!

Re: Thursday Daily

evening all.

Well, that's two of the kittens gone to their new home!! Idge (now known as Smudge) and Marmalade have gone together, so very happy about that. My other 4 are going to the vets tomorrow to board for the weekend while I nip up north. Not looking forward to that journey at all, but needs must. Got the final total from our school fayre today and we've raised £1, 100!!!! Absolutely fantastic considering we only raised £300 at last years!!!
