Daily thread ~ SaturdayGood morning everyone ............... it's December!!  It's fairly bright and the sun is shining here so far but rain has been promised for later.... Not a lot planned for today, will pop out to the shops later for a few odds and ends then start wrapping some prezzies. Oh.... we received out first Christmas card yesterday too!! Fran ~ I'm hoping the kittens are improving and you are getting a bit more rest. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.....

Morning Mags, morning all Cold and sunny morning - am up and wanting to get out early to do the weekly shop - hate lots of crowds so going early. Kids are still in bed but Sean will be playing football no doubt and Emma will be shopping with me probably. Have a good day all. |

Bright here too after torrential rain last night! Off to help man a couple of stalls at Dominik's school Christmas Fayre later this afterhoon. Never done anything like that before so not sure what to expect! Have to chase the English National Ballet today as well, as we ordered three 2nd row tickets for The Nutcracker to take Domi, and tickets arrived yesterday . . . for the dress circle! No good for a small child, they need to be up close to get the full experience. I'm ever so cross, cos I actually chose the tickets on their interactive booking thingy AND had the seats confirmed by email.  I hope they haven't messed up - he'll be SO disappointed! An advent calender arrived by post this morning for the boys from the Cotswold hotel that we're going to stay in over Christmas. That was a nice gesutre. Dominik got to work on the chocolates straight away  |

Hallelujah!!!! I finally have broadband lol!! The very nice men from virgin came this morning and I'm ahve ing SO much fun checking out all the videos and things I've not been able to view before. I managed to get them to swap the phone line for the broadband (I never used the phone, only took it as I got cable on offer if I took it lol) and now I'm super speedy!! Christmas tree went up last night, will post a pic later. Hayley is off seeing Santa with her kids club and it's just started raining again. Lovely day weather wise, NOT!! Hope all have a good day. |

Afternoon all  Cold here but dry and bright. Had a rough night at work,didnt get everyone setteled untill nearly 3.30 so the shift was never ending Have poorly puppy dog here  my poor little boy has a really bad tum so hes being starved today,hes not impressed either,the extra walk for him while Lil was getting her breakfast didnt fool him one bit So most of my morning before finally getting to bed at 11.30 was scrubbing and cleaning the floors!! Hope you have all had a great day |

Oh Erin I'm sorry Choc messed so much. He'll bounce back you'll see. Boiled rice and chicken tomorrow me thinks. I just cant get myself motivated today. I've done nothing  . I really need to go to p@h for litter. Will go in a bit.Just got a video from Derek. there's snow on the cairngorms . I think by the look of it they have had a snowball fight .Got nothing palnned for today or tonight. Just lil ol me and Ceilidh here. |

Afternoon, all! Sunny but windy and very cold: only 2 degrees! Not my weather! They are calling for a cold all day rain possibly mixed with sleet tomorrow, so I did two days marketing this morning so I can stay inside where it's warm! Leia asked for the porch to be opened; got one blast of cold air in her face and promptly retired to the warm radiator cover. Onyx met me at the bus stop and walked home with me meowing loudly all the way; her tin had been on the radiator also so was nice and warm for her on the chilly morning. The noisy leaf-machines are here today vacuuming them up from the streets... Hope you all have a nice day... |
