I am new here.Hi. I'm Alan and I have two cats, Fergie and Mr Chips. They're both black and white. Fergie came to us from a friend who couldn't keep him anymore, about 5 years ago. He is 1) big, 2) miserable. Mr Chips is 18 months old and came to us from the Cats Protection League. He'd been taken to them after being found in a well with his dead siblings and his mother who'd been trying to hunt but wasn't producing sufficient milk to keep all the kittens alive. He was very sick when we got him but he eventually recovered and now does his utmost to stuff as much food and eat as many animals as he possibly can. You name it, he'll try to eat it. He also likes bread.

Hi Alan and welcome! We're a friendly bunch of (mainly) girlies here. Fergie sounds like a right character and isn't Mr Chips just lucky to have found you! I read your other post about your cat that went missing; how awful for you! I do hope you're reunited with him eventually! Anyway, whenever you fancy a natter or a more serious discussion about cats - or anything for that matter . . . just jump on in!! |

 Welcome to the friendly forum, Alan, hope you enjoy it here! Loved the story of Mr. Chips and eating; my Misty had been a stray and to the day she died ate everything in sight.....she remembered the days when there was no food! Hope you'll post some pics of them!  |
