What a stunning boat!

Now I'm not really a boat person, but this is a 100% bio-diesel speed boat that is going to try for the round the world speed record next year.

They approached my business with a view to helping them by supplying translation and interpreting services for the pre-race, European tour and also helping once the race is underway.

In return for something that is costing us very little, we have got a huge sticker of our logo on the side of their boat . . . have a look at this . . . isn't she a stunning creature

Re: What a stunning boat!

Well Mags - all the interpreters that have been on site to help with any language barriers have all had VIP treatment courtesy of the crew; rides around the bay, champagne on board etc. If I wanted to foot the bill for a flight to Portugal (or Spain, where they are going next), I would probably get similar treatment Sadly time and money (and a fear of flying) don't allow for it

They did visit the UK (London, Edinburgh and maybe one or two other ports) but we weren't involved with them at that point so missed out
