Daily thread ~ Sunday

Good morning everyone, hope you all enjoyed your extra hour in bed!

It's a miserable morning here, raining hard and very windy - not exactly the weather for walking the dogs!

Just trying to catch up on things here today and I'm pleased that my PC is running smoothly again!

Hope you enjoy your day and it's drier where you are than here!

Mags you dont have a dog!!!

The sun is out The windows are open. Not enough to escape though.
Spent most of the morning with the phone glued to my ear (no surprises there)
Had a lovely surprise this morning. The cats had knocked over the hamsters cage last night. Muck and sawdust every where!! Took ages to clean up. Now the holey terrors are running about the house at 100miles an hour. If your in the way they just jump over you
Oh and Caspurr fell off the window ledge this morning

Wet and windy here today, done a bit of housework, just cooked some beef to make a nice stew that is now in the oven

Not much planned for today, just chilling out.

Lovely and sunny here although a little bit cold. Won't be doing much today again as madam has still not delivered. She is determined to keep me waiting.

Sunny but very blustery and chilly here: 10C with a wind chill of 8! Finally turned the heat on as the house felt really cold when I got up. Leia hasn't noticed yet that the radiators are slowly warming up; she's sitting in a patch of sunlight in the back room. And asked for the porch door to be opened, got one blast of chilly air and came back in!
Having a nice cool weather meal of ham and cabbage tonight! Nothing scheduled but Sunday papers and the big crossword.
Oh, and my computer still thinks we went back to Standard time today, and the time was off when I logged on; had to correct it manually!

Re: Daily thread ~ Sunday

Wet and windy here - stayed in most of the weekend as I have been dying of this cold/sinusitis. God knows what I am gonna be like when I get a cold when I am an old lady - will be hospitalised!!! Why do some people get colds and other people really suffer with colds.... I have literally been in bed all weekend!!

Up now to do a bit of housework as the house is a tip as the kids have been left to it more or less...

Donna, do you take Vitamin C? It's supposed to help your immune system fight them off; I've taken it for ages and almost never have a cold...can't remember the last time I did....
