Another lovely sunny day here and very chilly first thing...

Not a lot planned during the day other than the usual tasks but we will be going out for a meal early evening with our daughter and her family for a combined birthday treat......... her birthday was 19th and her son's is 22nd.

Hope you all have some sun today ....... enjoy it!

Re: Dailt thread Sunday

Been to another house viewing; OH fell in love with this one, an old barge drinking-stop on the Kennet and Avon canal, 1 house away from the water's edge. It's a cottage now, but has amazingly high ceilings and TONNES of space!

I must admit it's a dreamy location; rural, yet with it's own railway station and a minute's drive from the main road!

OH has taken a load of stuff down to the tip with Dominik, Sebastian is napping and later this afternoon we'll mosey into town for a late lunch/early dinner!

Been busy today, cleared the veg plot, tidied the garden shed, cleaning the oven, just cleaning the bathroom, hopefully later I will be able to have a nice bath and relax!!!

Have a great day everybody.

afternoon all
Lovely sunny day here today.
Had another heavy frost last night,it was freezing when I left work this morning.
Nothing planned for the rest of the day other than some ironing that I really must start doing, the pile is starting to take over my kitchen

Afternoon! Brilliant sun and still enjoying unseasonably warm weather: won't last, but great while it's here! A lazy Sunday for me also; papers and the crossword.
Enjoy the day!
Yola: that house sounds really interesting....

Re: Dailt thread Sunday

If we get to the stage where we maybe make an offer than I'll certainly post pics. I suspect we'll see LOADS of houses and it'd get just too boring if I posted pics of every one of them!

Still, this is the view of next-door which is adjecent to the river - the house we looked at is attached to it to the right. Beautiful isn't it?!! Where the white railings to the left are is a swing bridge (Dominik was rather fascinated by this) and there is a lovely pub right on the river directly on the other side of the bridge. I'm liking this more and more
