Daily thread ~ SundayMorning all! Overcast this morning with a glimpse of the sun trying to break through...... Not a lot to do today except a huge basket of ironing and a general tidy round. What a great day for the sports fans yesterday, England won at football and ....... England won again at rugby!! Well done to all the lads!  Hope you all enjoy your day!

Morning Mags. Hooray! for the rugby team  ... can my nerves cope with next Saturday?  The sun is peeping through here ... it will have to try a bit harder. Still very mild though. 2 weeks till clock-change - ugh! I'm going back to hacking down a clematis which has got out of hand. It's in an awkward place, which means I'm working with my hands above above my shoulders - not comfortable! Hopefull I'll finish before I fall to bits today. Hope everyone has a nice Sunday |

Morning all. Quite a busy morning. Lazarus is off to his new home today  Gonna miss the wee cutie but he will have a good life with lots of one to one attention which I cannot provide long term, and there will be no cats to contend with either . Have typed up a hamster care sheet for his new owners and packed a goody bag for him, cleaned his cage and he is ready to go after lunch time. |

Afternoon, all! Sunny here but still unusually chilly...only 14C now! No more shorts and tees; have broken out the sweatpants and shirts! And dark so early now, and the time change is looming...... The usual market run, just Sunday papers and the big weekly crossword this afternoon....Enjoy the day! |

Been a nice day here today. No sun really, but just quite warm. Done the food shopping - even started to get one or two bits at each shop for Xmas (dare I mention it!!) Done the usual Sunday housework and getting all the washing done for next week. Nothing much happening here! |

Set off to my friends from my mum's this morning at 8.30am to go and get Jilly. Had a lovely day at my friends and no I am back at my mums to pick the kids up. Will be going home tomorrow morning. |
