Daily thread Wed

Hello Ladies
Well it's dry here today. I have the school run to do. then the gym.
Then I'm on a mission. (for anyone that missed it see guess what Jac did by Moli)
Going into the nuring home and if George is still in a smelly room or unclean you'll probably hear me! I also typed out a report for the care comission last night. I'm going to take my camera with me and may also tip off the local papaers. I'll only tell them if they agree not to publish his name. He still has a few friends about and I want to leave him is dignaty.Gosh he's only in his late 70's.
I'm still a bit wound up about it.
Also makeing Caspurr an appointment to get his bits off.

I'm here (for a bit anyway). Lots to do today. Sun is shining, it's windy but STILL no sign of my new car Was woken up by Dominik moaning in the night at about 5am . . . didn't really get back to sleep properly after that!

Off to get some work done now

I'm off to the gym now. It's a fantastic one. In the Royal Commonwealth Pool no less . Plus it's only a two minute drive up the road. Spoilt

Re: Daily thread Wed

Morning/afternoon all!

Another cloudy, dull day here ........... I'm hoping to plant out some pansies this afternoon if it remains dry.

The posties are supposed to be back on their rounds today but there's no sign of mine yet..

Jac ~ Good luck with your unannounced visit to the Nursing Home today, I really hope there will be no need for you to take pics and everything is as it should be with George. If it was at all possible I would have had Dad home with me but unfortunately he needed 24 hour nursing care.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable day!..

Re: Daily thread Wed

Morning all,

Sorry not been round much, but my broadband is broke at home. Its not my fault, but some fault in the cables somewhere. No idea when it will be fixed so rather fed up about that!!

Good news my car is up and running and legal now. Car electrics sort of fixed and had an MOT and now taxed! Hundreds of pounds spent which I was putting aside for Christmas, but had no choice.

Will try and get on a bit when I am at work, but it is difficult.

Doona - it feels as if you have a body part missing when you can't access your PC . . . sad indictment of today's dependence on IT

Hope to see you back full-strength soon

Re: Daily thread Wed

Well it's turned 3.00pm and our postie didn't arrive today!

Donna - isn't it typical everything seems to break down at once! I'm pleased to hear you have your car back on the road though, that's one less worry for you.

What a nuisance about your Broadband ........ hopefully it'll be fixed soon and we can look forward to seeing more of you!
