Saturday's thread

Woken v early by Sebastian this morning, he's gone back to sleep again now which is good. Had our breakfast of smoked mackeral and giant greek beans and now OH is fixing my handbag as the clasp has broken (I can't bear to part with it it's such a nice one), and I'm off at 10 to get my nails done as all the gel has peeled off!

OH will take boys to the park for a scamper and then we'll see what the day brings

Morning all. Nice and sunny today but bet its a bit chilly out there!!

Off to Sittingbourne in a minute to take Sean football training and I will no doubt end up in the High Street with Emma in the shops whilst training is on!!

Have a good day all.

Re: Saturday's thread

Morning.
Well, enough long and tiring day at my new job. Not feeling at all rewarding yet, and just found i won't get paid the extra overtime i've been doing. We're talking several hours worth per day for the last few weeks, no days off yet.
I'm exhausted.

But i'm being met by Darren with a bucket of chicken, a movie, and Shelby cuddles at 9ish tonight to crash before i repeat the entire process again tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that....

Hope everyone else has a gooden!

Re: Saturday's thread

Morning all, just back after visiting the animals for the last time, I feel its all gone quite well, Pippin is still with us and is looking better for his furminations. Quinn and Kershaw were just delightful, the bunny was my pal one minute and grumpy the next, the stray is just gorgeous but is soon for the nut chop.
My bank balance came in this week and I thought I was a little more flush than usual but this morning the master card bill arrived and last months payments haven't been cleared, so have now incurred charges coz my cheque obviously hasnt arrived, bloody royal mail
Any way, got loads of house work to catch up on, still over cast here but forecast says its gonna clear up by the afternoon.
Hope you all have a good day xxx

Morning all
Nice day here today. OH is going the football and I'm getting hair done at 3pm. Next door but one neighbours have a little kitten, Leia, and Denis is going mad caling for her....He has forgotten he has no pom pom's I think and that he is on a leash and can't reach the end of the garden to get to her but watch this space...May get some pics when she is feeling brave.

Re: Saturday's thread

Last full day of Sommer before the equinox, and it's overcast but nice and warm, with the clouds supposed to lift in the afternoon, nice! Been on my library run and to the bank, just pottering around this afternoon,
BC: oooh, another Leia?! What does she look, like?
Whiley: refresh my memory, what's your new job? Shouldn't you get comp time if they won't pay overtime?
Yola: what are giant Greek beans? Sound interesting ....
Enjoy the day, all!

Finally up and running here without any more computer breakdowns, fingers crossed!

There are so many pages to catch up on I don't think I'll get anything else done this weekend!

Re: Saturday's thread

Eileen Leia is white with tabby tail and face, only saw her from a distance.
Giant beans are lovely they are like butter beans and the greeks do them in a tomato, oily sauce. Lildl sell them with all the greek food in a tub.
