Daily Thread / TuesdayMorning all, looks like it will be another bright, pleasant day here. Em's up early this morning for her first day at her new school, wonder how long this enthusiasm will last?!  She's sooooo excited! Strange day for me not having to do the school run after all these years  Tom's not back until tomorrow as the new starters and 6th form always go in a day earlier, so he's got one more day of the holiday left. Not much planned, will see how the day goes..Hope everyone has a great day

Morning Fran, morning all. I should be getting dressed before the school run but decided to take 5 . Looks a bit overcast.Gosh high school for Em. Next she will be starting work  .Darryle had a great day yesterday. first day of his apprenticeship. Long may it continue. Well I'd better get a move on. |

Sebastian's 1st birthday today!!! My, how time flies. He was born at about 10.30 so will have a bit of a pause for thought then. Pressie opening will be tonight when OH's other kids come over with their gifts for the little man! Apart from that more household duties to get through. As it's only me and Domi here, I'm taking the opportunity to have a good clean so lots of washing on and cupboards etc being sorted Domi's got so many new toys to play with that to be honest he's not even noticing that I'm doing other stuff and not playing with him |

Beautiful day here again! We have decided to take a trip to Devon for the day tomorrow while the weather is nice. I hope all the '1st Day at School' children settled in well and enjoyed it.. Afternoon, all! Lovely late Summer day here, and we once again need rain! Having to water the container plants every day; am getting tired of the drought! Did the usual marketing run and need to do more garden work this afternoon....Leia is resting on her laurels after last night; she's getting spoiled with treats! Happy birthday, Sebastian!~ |
