Daily Thread / ThursdayMorning all, absolutely throwing it down here  Not much planned for today, need to get tidied round. I hate this weather, can't get the washing done, too hot to put the radiators on and not everything will tumbe dry Hope you all have a great day

Morning Fran Got a wee bit to do about the town this morning. Ironing as well. The Weather isnt too bad (for a change) Think I'll take a wander round pets at home. Not much else palnned quite boaring really. Have a good day all. |

We've had a wet night but it's dry again now - for now! Taking Mum to the hospital Outpatient clinic today to see the heart specialist. She has had a heart murmer since having rheumatic fever aged 14 but they want to look at it now. Hope it all comes to nought. Have a good, if slightly soggy, day everyone |

Morning. I've booked today & tomorrow off work, so not back until Monday...yipeee... I'm off to have my hair cut soon & then got a few jobs to do. John is finishing work early and we're off to a poultry auction.  We only got 4 chickens at the weekend, but there's space for more, so may come home with something! there are some chicks there, so might convince John I need a baby chick or 2! |

In the office again today. Dropped the car of for a service and borrowed an IS from them, quite sporty, Domi loved the ingition button (no key) . . . insisted on pressing it More madness in the office again today, have shed loads to get through, we came back here last night after putting the boys to bed and I will have to come in for a bit tomorrow as well as we're interviewing . . . have hardly seen the kids this week and am feeling really bad about it  Weather's overcast and humid and the air feels very wet - I'm certain it's going to rain at some point. |

I'm feeling a bit down today; just heard from Logoes son that she passed away last night unexpectedly. We'd become friends thru the forum...sad. Then, we had a terrible thunderstorm last night, over two inches of rain and I had a roof leak, a nasty one! And this is a fairly new roof, just had it replaced a few years ago~! Awaiting the roofer! And the icing in the cake is that it has turned quite chilly . 16C, a shock to the system after the 33C we had a few days ago. Definitely did not wear my light new tee today...sweats on the way to the market ! The porch is too chilly for heat-lover Leia...there's also a brisk raw east wind. Hope things are going well with all of you! |
