Cats Fighting

Ok my female cat is pregnant and she is taking it out on my male!! LOL. jk No but really, He keeps trying to play with her(hes still a baby, only 8 months) or lay with her and she keeps lashing out at him. They were so close and now its like she wants him far far away. I know its most likely just hormones and what not, but should I seperate them and give her some piece or just leave them to sort things out when I go out??

Re: Cats Fighting

I hope someone who's had experience will be able to help.
I think (unless she is being really fierce) I'd be inclined to leave them to sort it out now - but give her more peace as her confinement comes closer.

Re: Cats Fighting

Not unless I put one of them behind a door. She trys to walk away from him and he just follows her. I think that Im going to put Baxter in the bathroom for a few.

Re: Cats Fighting

I've never had this situation, but I think I agree that she really needs some space from him at this time.....
