Daily thread Monday

Mondays here again. I had a great weekend though, so musn't grumble.
Off to work today.I have some company today as one of the girls from work is out with me for the day. She lives near me, so is coming here at 8.30am. I'm determined to get home at a reasonable time today. I keep saying this, but end up working later & later all the time. So today I aim to be home by 4pm!
I'm waiting for a call about my next cat, the pen is free & ready & the cat is a timid black pregnant one. the lady is set up to catch her, so hopefully she'll get her in the next day or 2 & not take 3 weeks like the last person!

Re: Daily thread Monday

Hi - Happy St George's Day. A dull but dry morning (we need some rain!) so nothing more exciting than the ironing, I think.
OH is going to see a car - I'll stay with the cats! (he'll do some business en route and I don't like hanging about/making myself invisible)
Hope everyone has a good day

Re: Daily thread Monday

Hi all, Happy St George's Day.
I have heaps to do today. Ironing, washing, and oh lucky me housework! That's what happens when I haven't been keeping good it all mounts up . Never mind I'll take my time.
Derek took Ceilidh to school this morning so I can go at it at my own pace. Dead slow and stop .
It's Ceilidh's birthday tomorrow so I also have pressies to wrap and hide. The family are coming over tomorrow night but her big dayis Sunday. We are having a party at the commonwealth pool. They have a bouncy area which is really good and do partys. I'm a bit worried though. I sent out 10 invites to her class friends and only one has got back to me Glad to say that it was an acceptance but really how long does it take? That was last Tues when they went back. I really hope most of them come.

Just a quick update and short break from housework . My stick has arrived!!!!! It's lovely, thanks for the link DM. I'm well chuffed with it . It's dinky, strong and really pretty. Iv'e also decided to go with Yola's idea and get a collection of pretty sticks to go with what I'm wearing . It'll take time to get a collection together but hey ho I have the first one!

Re: Daily thread Monday

Hello all.

I've had a busy morning. Took Mom to the Orthapedic hospital - she had an 8.45am appointment, no where to park there so driving round like an idiot while she was in there, then back and took her into see Uncle Arnie at his residential home- he is not very well.

Got home about 11am then off to the vets with a friend of mine whose dog was PTS (she would not go by herself as she figured this would be the outcome and her husband is beside himself) I will post in gone not forgotten.
Then finaly made it home, had a cup of coffee and shot off to Selly Oak Hospital with Dad a check up on his hearing aid, managed to fit in a little shopping at Sainsbury's got a chicken may have Chicken and chips not had that for ages.

Hoping to shoot over to Alex's next - Yes I know you're not in till after 3.15 but could be then when I arrive sorry won't have time to stop long - I have dinner to do and dogs to walk and ironing. This is my day off need to get back to work tomorrow for a rest

Karen
