D'you know I think these creatures have been around all winter. There was a fat bimble-bum round the flowers on my rosemary this morning but I distinctly remember a tortoiseshell butterfly in the week before xmas as I picked some sprouting for xmas dinner.
Global warming? ... or maybe just a warm winter?
